COLOR AND COLOR-INFRARED AERIAL PHOTOGRAPHS OF WATERFOWL HABITATS WERE STUDIED TO DETERMINE THEIR USEFULNESS FOR MARSH VEGETATION EVALUATION. ATTEMPTS WERE MADE TO DETERMINE THE OPTIMUM FILM TYPE, SCALE, TIME OF DAY, AND TIME OF YEAR FOR BEST RESULTS. BOTH COLOR AND COLOR-INFRARED FILMS PROVED TO BE VALUABLE FOR MARSH EVALUATION.
