In this work an aluminium thermoplastic CFRP (Carbon Fibre Reinforced Polymer) hybrid structure is characterised by the comparison of different nondestructive testing methods. Especially the interfaces and the CFRP itself are investigated. It is shown that with active thermography defects in the interface and in the CFRP itself can be detected and determined.
