Abstract To calculate the coefficient of a gluonic operator in the operator product expansion of light-quark currents at the one-loop level one must subtract mass-singular terms from the corresponding diagrams. We find that this is simply achieved by dimensional regularization provided that no quark operator mixes with the gluonic operator under renormalization.
