Studies reveal important prognostic relationships between C-reactive protein (CRP) and atherosclerotic complications. A prospective trial of familial hypercholesterolemic patients treated with Heparin-induced Extra-corporeal Low-Density Lipoprotein Precipitation (HELP, B.
