PROCESSES IN BPEL A BPEL abstract process provides a description of a related range of behaviors; one can think of it as representing a set of executable processes. Abstract processes have access to the same range of syntax and semantics as executable BPEL processes. Opaque tokens enable explicit hiding of information, and in some cases, may themselves be omitted.
