This paper presents the results of the CuReSS Project and demonstrates how the use of systems thinking principles and systems thinking methods, combined with an exploration of the human body's achievement of resilience, have contributed to the development of a `Blueprint' for resilience. SSM is used to draw together viewpoints from fields including ecology, physics, sociology, psychology and disaster management.
