Bronchoscopic evaluation of the anastomoses created by carinal reconstruction was carried out over a period of 7 weeks in 6 patients who had undergone carinal and lobar resections for lung cancer, and 4 who had undergone carinal resection without pulmonary resection for carinal tumors.
