British Virgin Islands plastic surgery workshop

The Sixth Annual British Virgin Islands Plastic Surgery Workshop was held January 27-31, 1992 at Prospect Reef Resort, Road Town, Tortola. Limited to 100 participants, the group represented the US, Great Britain, Europe, Niger, and Taiwan. As in previous years, the venue was Caribbean, a half day of presentations, then relaxation in the sun and sea. Organized by the Continuing Education Department of Butterworth Hospital, Grand Rapids, Michigan per Celia Steele and staff, the meeting was chaired by Ralph Blocksma, MD and Ian T. Jackson, MD. This unique meeting's presentations were formatted into specific areas of interest this year as: breast, clefts, complications, cries for help, innovations and extremities. Almost everyone prepared to make a presentation. Discussions were direct, probing, and very interesting. An additional helpful feature was a session on Medical Photography.
