1. Brain (hypothalamic) and cloacal temperatures were measured in heat-stressed Lesser Nighthawks (Chordeiles acutipennis), Mallards (Anas platyrhynchos), Pigeons (Columba livia), and White-Necked Ravens (Corvus cryptoleucus) and in one Roadrunner (Geococcyx californianus).
