We present closed-form lower bounds for the performance of multihop transmissions with nonregenerative relays over not necessarily identically distributed Nakagami-m fading channels. The end-to-end signal-to-noise ratio is formulated and upper bounded by using an inequality between harmonic and geometric means of positive random variables (RVs).
