The two-dimensional molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) nanosheet has been extensively studied as a novel photothermal transducing agent. However, top-down exfoliation to produce MoS2 nanosheets is inefficient, and MoS2 nanosheet surface modification procedures are complex.
