The aim of this study is to assess the relationship between body temperature patterns and fever ( ≥ 37.5C) risks in the parasitaemia of uncomplicated Plasmodium falciparum malaria in children (≤59 months). The ever increasing resistance to monotherapies informed the assessment of the combination therapies of Artesunate+Sulphadoxine-Pyrimethamine (AT+SP) and Amodiaquine+ Sulphadoxine-Pyrimethamine (AQ+SP) at the malaria endemic settlements of Lake-alau, Borno State, and NorthEastern Nigeria.
