ABSTRACT In the past various FIR block-processing structures (e.g. for fractional sample rate conversion) have been published. However, the timing interval of all proposed structures is constrained to integer multiples of Ts=MTi (Ti: timing interval of input signal). Increasing Ts by p ∈ concurrently raises the number of multipliers by the same factor p.
