We compare some block equalizers for single-carrier satellite systems subject to hard propagation conditions such as high Doppler spread, non-line-of-sight (NLOS), and non-negligible multipath fading. These impairments are relevant when the very high speed of a mobile receiver forces to use a non-directional antenna.
