Bismuth tellurides (joseite-B, bismuthian tsumoite) in a Pb-Zn deposits from Tunaberg, Sweden

Joseite-B (Bi 4.08-4.14 Pb 0.02-0.03 Sb 0.00-0.04 ) 4.10-4.16 (Te 1.85-2.01 S 0.83-1.05 ) 2.84-2.90 and bismuthian tsumoite (Bi 1.11-1.40 Te 0.54-0.82 Pb 0.01-0.02 Sb 0.00-0.09 S 0.00-0.03 ) 2.00 from Tunaberg, Bergslagen, Central Swenden, occur in composite grains and in trails with native bismuth in galena-rich samples. Mineral textures suggest contemporaneous crystallization of native bismuth and the telluride mineral assemblage with the galena host, probably from Pb-Bi-Terich skarn-forming… CONTINUE READING
