Biotechnologische Strategien in der Allergiediagnostik

Allergies are on the rise in Europe: every hour a patient dies as a result of allergic asthma. Undervalued allergy is now perceived as a serious disease, which requires high-precision diagnostics and therapies. Especially in allergy diagnostics biotechnological processes play an important role, since recombinant production of major and minor allergens enhance specificity of current detection systems and allow new optimization strategies in immunotherapy.
