Groundnut sucking bug, Rhyparochromus litotoralis (Dist.), is one of the most important postharvest field insect pests of groundnut in Northern Nigeria. The biology of R. littoralis was studied under laboratory conditions at temperature range of 30 – 33C on freshly harvested groundnut with its leaves and haulms while making notable observations as well on the groundnut fields.
