The present communication reports the biological behaviour of women with moderate dysplastic lesions of uterine cervix based on a long term prospective study. Two hundred and thirty nine women with moderate dysplasia by cervical cytology who satisfied the criteria for registration were longitudinally followed up at 3 +/- 1 monthly intervals along with age and parity matched controls for a period ranging from 4 to 132 months.
