Oil was obtained fromthe seed of Acacia raddiana with 11%yield , allowing the possibility of economical exploitation, and its fatty acid composition was determined by gas chromatography. The crude oil was transesterified using acid and base catalysts (H2SO4, HCl,NaOH, C2H5ONa ), with amolar ratio ofMethanol:Oil: Catalyst of 5: 1: 0.1, to formbiodiesel.
