Topically administered bimatoprost 0.03%/timolol 0.5% ophthalmic solution (bimatoprost/timolol: Ganfort) comprises the synthetic prostamide bimatoprost (structurally related to prostaglandin F2 alpha) and the beta-adrenergic receptor antagonist timolol.
