A. H. " Hank" Banner, professor of zoology at the Uni versity of Hawai i for more than 30 yr and member of the Editorial Board of Pa cific Science, was author or coauthor of nearl y 100 publications during his life (1914-1985). I have endeavored to record in this bibliography as many of the titles as I ha ve been able to find. Dr. Banner's diverse interests in natural history resulted in a corpus of work dealing not only with his special interest in snapping shrimp (family Alpheidae), but also…

Old and Unreported Collections of Alpheid Shrimp from the Zoologisches Museum, Berlin, Principally from Melanesia
TLDR
Previously unstudied collections of 70 species of alpheid shrimp held by the Zoologisches Museum (East Berlin) are reported upon, finding 46 species from the area of the Pacific south of the equator and west of the International Date Line known as Melanesia (exclusive of the Fiji Archipelago), with46 species from this area.
