The role of anisotropic components on the dark energy and the dynamics of the universe is investigated. An anisotropic dark energy fluid with different pressures along different spatial directions is assumed to incorporate the effect of anisotropy. One dimensional cosmic strings aligned along x-direction supplement some kind of anisotropy. Anisotropy in the dark energy pressure is found to evolve with cosmic expansion at least at late times. At an early phase, the anisotropic effect due to the…
Axially magnetized dark energy cosmological model
We investigate the behavior of the skewness parameters for an anisotropic universe in the framework of General Relativity. Non-interacting dark energy is considered in presence of electromagnetic
Dynamics of anisotropic dark energy universe embedded in one-directional magnetized fluid
In this work, we have constructed an anisotropic dark energy cosmological model in a two-fluid situation, such as the usual dark energy and the magnetized fluid. We have assumed the dark energy
Stability analysis of two-fluid dark energy models
In this paper, we have studied the stability of the cosmological models with dark energy and combination of matter fields and dark energy in an anisotropic space time. The pressure anisotropy along
Dynamics of Bianchi type-II anisotropic dark energy cosmological model in the presence of scalar-meson fields
Today dark energy cosmological models have become essential to explain the accelerated expansion of the universe. Motivated by this we investigate, in this paper, a dark energy model in the presenc...
Interactions in the dark sector within the scope of Bianchi type-V model
We are building a cosmological model that has small anisotropy and curvature. For this purpose, the Bianchi type-V (BV) model with dark matter (DM) and anisotropic dark energy (DE) is considered.
Interacting generalized anisotropic universe model
In this paper, we consider the generalized anisotropic model in Einstein's theory of gravity to study evolution of anisotropic universe. For this purpose, we consider interacting form of dark energy
The late cosmic acceleration and the coincidence problem in Bianchi type I Universe
In locally rotationally symmetric (LRS) Bianchi-I spacetime, we are considering a special kind of a scale factor, called the hybrid expansion law (HEL). The HEL provides a description of the
Bulk viscous embedded hybrid dark energy models
In this paper, we have constructed the cosmological model of the universe in a two-fluid environment with a newly developed mathematical formalism. In order to construct the model, Binachi type V

Pressure anisotropy and dark energy models in scale invariant theory of gravitation
The problem of an anisotropic universe in the form of a diagonal Bianchi type V space-time is investigated in scale invariant theory with dark energy. The matter field is considered in the form of
Two fluid anisotropic dark energy models in a scale invariant theory
Abstract. Some anisotropic Bianchi V dark energy models are investigated in a scale invariant theory of gravity. We consider two non-interacting fluids such as dark energy and a bulk viscous fluid.
Accelerating Cosmologies with an Anisotropic Equation of State: Vector Fields, Modified Gravity and Astrophysical Constraints
If the dark energy equation of state is anisotropic, the expansion rate of the universe becomes direction dependent at late times. We show that such models are not only cosmologically viable but that
Measuring dark energy spatial inhomogeneity with supernova data
The gravitational lensing distortion of distant sources by the matter in the Universe has been extensively studied. In contrast, very little is known about the effects due to the large-scale
Anisotropic universe with cosmic strings and bulk viscosity
Spatially homogeneous and anisotropic LRS Bianchi type-I string cosmological models are studied in the frame work of general relativity when the source for the energy momentum tensor is a bulk
The anisotropic distribution of the dark energy within the scope of LRS Bianchi type I model
We investigate the anisotropic locally rotationally symmetric (LRS) Bianchi type I cosmological model with dark matter and anisotropic dark energy. We assume that the shear scalar (σ)$(\sigma )$ is
Anisotropic dark energy: dynamics of the background and perturbations
We investigate cosmologies where the accelerated expansion of the universe is driven by a field with an anisotropic equation of state. We model such scenarios within the Bianchi I framework,
Inflationary universe with anisotropic hair.
A universal relation between the anisotropy and a slow-roll parameter of inflation is found and has observational implications and gives a counterexample to the cosmic no-hair conjecture.
Anisotropic dark energy and CMB anomalies
We investigate the breaking of global statistical isotropy caused by a dark energy component with an energy-momentum tensor which has point symmetry, that could represent a cubic or hexagonal
LRS Bianchi type I models with anisotropic dark energy and constant deceleration parameter
Locally rotationally symmetric Bianchi type I cosmological models are examined in the presence of dynamically anisotropic dark energy and perfect fluid. We assume that the dark energy (DE) is
