Its reception following publication in 1810 and subsequent reviews throughout the history of physical science did not reflect this self-assessment. Even Hermann von Helmholtz, who in part modeled his scientific work after Goethe's, initially thought that Goethe's poetic genius prevented him from understanding physical science. Why did Goethe champion his Farbenlehre…

Discovery of Protein Modifications Using Differential Tandem Mass Spectrometry Proteomics.

A spectral alignment method for the identification of protein modifications using high-resolution mass spectrometry proteomics, called SAMPEI for spectral alignment-based modified peptide identification, designed for the discovery of functional protein and peptide signaling modifications, without prior knowledge of their identities.

Discovery of protein modifications using high resolution differential mass spectrometry proteomics

A spectral alignment method for the identification of protein modifications using high-resolution mass spectrometry proteomics and SAMPEI’s robust parameterization and versatility are expected to facilitate the discovery of biological modifications of diverse macromolecules.

The Sorrows of Young Werther
