The objective of this study was to evaluate the effects of three sulphydryl (SH) compounds, N-acetylcysteine (NAC), cysteine (Cys) and cystamine, on functional recovery and ventricular arrhythmias (VF) in stunned myocardium in the isolated perfused heart of the rat. 2.
