ZusammenfassungEs wird eine einfache Ableitung des quantenmechanischen Virialsatzes aus dem Variationsprinzip gegeben. Es zeigt sich, daß die vom Virialsatz geforderte Beziehung zwischen den Erwartungswerten der kinetischen und der potentiellen Energie auch durch jede Näherungslösung der Wellengleichung erfüllt wird, falls diese nach einem Variationsverfahren berechnet ist, welches die „Streckung des Grundgebietes“ als mögliche Variation gestattet.
