In this paper a matix27 of ANSYS/General is used to simulate the contact between beam-disc systems. The beam was changed to different location and by using complex eigenvalue the stability was detected. An attempted is made to investigate the effect of system parameters, such as friction coefficient of the contact interaction between the beam and the disc, disc young’s modulus and contact stiffness.
