There is a growing interest in adaptive multimedia services in wireless/mobile networks where the bandwidth of an ongoing call is variable dun’ng its lijetime. We analyze the diverse objectives of adaptive multimedia jramework and propose two bandwidth adaptation algorithms (BAAS) that can satisfy these objectives: BAA-RA and BAA-RF.
