Wireless sensor networks (WSNs) are almost autonomous and dynamic network consisting of a number of wireless nodes with limited energy. Accordingly, multicast routing protocols for WSNs encounter many challenges such as energy limitation, limited bandwidth, and self-configuration when producing multi-hop routes.
