OBJECTIVE To study in vitro the micro-organism absorption properties of a hydrogel wound dressing, TenderWet. METHOD Microbial films on agar plates and suspensions with common wound bacteria (Staphylococcus aureus, Staphylococcus epidermidis and Pseudomonas aeruginosa) and a fungal strain (Candida albicans) were studied.
