Bacillus capparidis sp. nov., an endophytic bacterium isolated from roots of Capparis spinosa L.

A novel endophytic bacterium, designated strain EGI 6500252T, was isolated from the surface-sterilized roots of a medicinal plant (Capparis spinosa L.) collected from Urumqi city, Xinjiang, north-west China.
