OBJECTIVE Follicular variant of papillary thyroid carcinoma (FVPTC) is a common variant of papillary thyroid carcinoma (PTC), but the association between BRAF mutation and the clinicopathological and ultrasonographical characteristics of FVPTC has not been well studied.
