PURPOSE To explore the awareness of glaucoma amongst the rural population of Andhra Pradesh, India. MATERIALS AND METHODS A total of 7775 subjects of all ages, representative of the rural population of Andhra Pradesh, participated in the Andhra Pradesh Eye Disease Study.
