Accurate detection and quantification of stenotic regions in coronary arteries are an essential requirement for treatment planning. We present a method that automatically detects and quantifies the stenoses in the coronary arteries from CTA images. Firstly centerlines were accurately extracted using a two point minimum cost path approach and subsequently refined to be used as an initialization for lumen segmentation, performed using graph cuts and robust kernel regression.
