At the September 1955 Annual Meeting of A.C.M., the author presented a paper which described Automatic Digital Encoding System I, (ADES I), a system of automatic translation of mathematical formulas into computer programs. The present paper describes ADES II, a significant extension of that system. ADES I excluded problems which involved double recursion.
