Based on a novel multi-phases process, a new use case patterns catalogue is constructed. This catalogue is then utilised as a framework for a new use case patterns-driven approach for requirement engineering. The application of the proposed approach in a TestWarehouse environment showed promising results in saving up to 30% of the total software development project time, yet the resulted requirements models showed high, 85–95%, completeness percentage.
