AhpF of Salmonella typhimurium, the flavoprotein reductase required for catalytic turnover of AhpC with hydroperoxide substrates in the alkyl hydroperoxide reductase system, is a 57 kDa protein with homology to thioredoxin reductase (TrR) from Escherichia coli.
