Zinc oxide (ZnO) nanoparticles are one of the important industrial nanoparticles. The production of ZnO nanoparticles is increasing every year. On the other hand, it is known that ZnO nanoparticles have strong cytotoxicity. In vitro studies using culture cells revealed that ZnO nanoparticles induce severe oxidative stress.
