Maspin belongs to a tumor suppressing protein which is usually expressed highly in myoepithelial cells, and is significantly downregulated in breast cancer cells. We focused on identifying the correlation between maspin expression and the clinicopathological features of human breast cancer tissues using immunohistochemistry.
