The present study aimed to evaluate the relationship between the hypertriglyceridemic waist (HTGW) phenotype and hyperuricemia. We undertook a cross-sectional study with a sample of 11,576 adults from China. The HTGW phenotype was defined as elevated waist circumference (WC) and elevated triglyceride (TG) concentration.
