STUDY OBJECTIVE To examine the relationship between nocturnal bruxism and gastroesophageal reflux. DESIGN Controlled descriptive study and double-blind, placebo-controlled, clinical study. SETTING Portable pH monitoring, electromyography, and audio-video recordings were conducted during the night in the subjects' home.
