Objective The present study aimed at investigating the association between hematological profile and serum 25-hydroxyvitamin D (25[OH]D) levels and Fokl polymorphism of the vitamin D receptor gene in individuals with Cystic Fibrosis.

It is suggested that vitamin D deficiency may negatively influence the prognosis of patients affected by cystic fibrosis and the link with lower levels of vitamin D and pulmonary exacerbations was proven, but the other articles could not prove Vitamin D deficiency with the worsening of cases of cystic Fibrosis.
