Assays &Synthesis &sequencing

  • Published 2004 in Nature Biotechnology

The first in a line of fixed-content genotyping products is available from Illumina. Based on a new assay and Sentrix BeadChip configuration, the line of microarrays will allow largescale interrogation of variation in the human genome at many levels of resolution, increasing researchers’ ability to cost-effectively unlock the genetic basis of disease. The first product will target at least 100,000 SNPs located in high-value genetic regions of human genome. The new assay targets the growing market opportunity for fixed-content genotyping and complements the GoldenGate custom genotyping assay. N E W O N T H E M A R K E T
