Tyrosinase (EC 1.14.18.1) a copper-containing monooxygenase, isolated from a fungal isolate Aspergillus niger PA2 was subjected for immobilization onto a composite consisting of chitosan and gelatin biopolymers. The homogeneity of the chitosan-gelatin biocomposite film was characterized by X-ray diffraction analyses. To evaluate immobilization efficiency, chitosan-gelatin-Tyr bio-composite films were analyzed by field emission scanning electron microscopy, atomic force microscopy and UV…

Metal ion effects on Polyphenol Oxidase Covalently immobilized on a Bio-Composite.
TLDR
The properties of immobilized enzyme were investigated and compared to free enzyme, various parameters were studied such as pH, temperature and storage stability on immobilized and free enzyme and inhibition types of metal ions were determined.
Optimization and Characterization of Tyrosinases from Multi-enzyme Producing Fusarium solani and Fumago sp.
Tyrosinase is a copper-containing metalloprotein that catalyzes the oxidation of tyrosine, in particular, L-DOPA to L-Dopaquinone, which are precursors of brown pigments in some wounded eukaryotic
Tyrosinase mediated humic substances synthesis by Bacillus aryabhattai TFG5
TLDR
Spectroscopic evidences suggest that TyrB enhanced the HS production from coir pith biomass and degradative products and changes in biomass structure by TyrB analysed through FT-IR suggests thatyrB might follow the polyphenol theory of HS synthesis.
Effect of heat-treated Nuruk on the quality characteristics of aged Yakju
TLDR
Sensory evaluation indicated that bad taste attributes were higher in Yakju produced using non-heat-treated Nuruk, and heat treatment of Nuruk at 50 °C can be adopted as a method for improving Yakju quality, as enzymatic activities that affect color, aroma, and taste are regulated.

TLDR
It is revealed that chitosan could react with genipin via a nucleophilic ring-opening reaction to construct more sufficient and extensive cross-link networks, as compared with its gelatin counterpart, which may provide a novel way to deliver therapeutic radionuclides for immuno-targeting purposes in the future.
