Strands are causal curves in spacetime with no distinct interior points, introduced to describe quantum nonlocality in a spacetime framework. We present a model where the standard model particles are bound states of strands that interact by exchanging strands. In strand spacetime, it is not just the positron whose existence is implied by the Dirac Lagrangian: we show that hidden within this simple Lagrangian are all the quarks, leptons, and gauge bosons, with their correct spin, electric…

Quantum gravity and the standard model
We show that a class of background-independent models of quantum spacetime have local excitations that can be mapped to the first-generation fermions of the standard model of particle physics. These
A post-quantum theory of classical gravity?.
We present a consistent theory of classical gravity coupled to quantum field theory. The dynamics is linear in the density matrix, completely positive and trace-preserving, and reduces to Einstein's
The Theory of Quantized Fields. I
The conventional correspondence basis for quantum dynamics is here replaced by a self-contained quantum dynamical principle from which the equations of motion and the commutation relations can be
Einstein gravity as a 3D conformally invariant theory
We give an alternative description of the physical content of general relativity that does not require a Lorentz invariant spacetime. Instead, we find that gravity admits a dual description in terms
On Gravity's role in Quantum State Reduction
The stability of a quantum superposition of two different stationary mass distributions is examined, where the perturbing effect of each distribution on the space-time structure is taken into

    Physical review. A, General physics

A new parameter-free unification of micro- and macrodynamics is constructed and gravitational measures for reducing macroscopic quantum fluctuations of the mass density are applied to lead to classical trajectories in the Macroscopic limit of translational motion.
Space-Time Approach to Non-Relativistic Quantum Mechanics
Non-relativistic quantum mechanics is formulated here in a different way. It is, however, mathematically equivalent to the familiar formulation. In quantum mechanics the probability of an event which
A demonstration that electroweak theory can violate parity automatically (leptonic case)
We bring to light an electroweak model which has been reappearing in the literature under various guises.1−5 In this model, weak isospin is shown to act automatically on states of only a single
