Arthroscopic abrasion arthroplasty is a modification of open Magnusson "housecleaning" arthroplasty. The arthroscopic approach decreases incision size enhancing postoperative rehabilitation. Arthroscopic techniques enhance the accuracy of diagnosis and provide accuracy of limiting debridement only to diseased tissue in various other dimensions of arthroplasty.
