OBJECTIVE To describe presumptive risk factors (RFs) for childhood arterial ischemic stroke (AIS) and explore their relationship with presentation, age, geography, and infarct characteristics. METHODS Children (29 days-18 years) were prospectively enrolled in the International Pediatric Stroke Study.
