Atherosclerosis is the commonest cause of arterial occlusion. The latter many times require surgery for significant stenosis impending vascularity. Hyperhomocysteinaemia is a rare and treatable cause of arterial occlusion and deep vein thrombosis. High index of suspicion is required to diagnose hyperhomocysteinaemia causing arterial stenosis.
