We previously reported that a bioactive tripeptide Arg-Ile-Tyr (RIY), which has been isolated as an inhibitor for angiotensin I-converting enzyme from the subtilisin digest of rapeseed protein, decreased blood pressure. In this study, we also found that RIY dose-dependently decreased food intake at a dose of 150 mg/kg after oral administration in fasted ddY male mice.
