The aim of this study was to determine the durum wheat quality parameters using NearInfrared Spectroscopy (NIRS) at early stages. In this study, Foss NIRSystem XDS was used. Durum wheat types at late stages which were subject to adaptation and plant breeding from test field of East Mediterranean Agricultural Research Institute and some standard varieties were used. In order to determine the reference values needed to construct calibration in NIRS analysis, durum wheat samples were analyzed by…

Estimation of grain yield by near-infrared reflectance spectroscopy in durum wheat
NIRS could be used to rank GY during the early generations of a breeding program, when performing yield trials is less feasible, however, further research is required to identify the environments in which this technique is more reliable, as well as to evaluate the heritability of NIRS-predicted GY.
Determination of protein and gluten quality-related parameters of wheat flour using near-infrared reflectance spectroscopy (NIRS)
Wet chemistry analyses done for quality control purposes in wheat and fl our processing are time-consuming. Near-infrared spectroscopy (NIRS) as an alternative technology to conventional methods
Prediction of wheat and flour Zeleny sedimentation value using NIR technique.
Analytical quality parameters of wheat flour prepared from variety and commercial wheat samples (wheat harvest 1998, 1999, 2000 and 2001) were assessed by means of filter spectrograph Inframatic 8620
Prediction of wheat milling characteristics by near-infrared reflectance spectroscopy
