Depuis une quinzaine d’annees, le laser est utilise avec succes en dentisterie. Chaque laser est specifique par sa longueur d’onde. L’absorption du rayonnement laser dans les tissus durs ou mous depend de cette longueur d’onde.L’experimentation et la pratique du laser dans les universites permettra de mieux traiter les patients en garantissant le bon usage et le choix de la longueur d’onde adaptee.
